Gillingham is a village situated just off the A146 in South Norfolk, near the market town of Beccles. Please take time to take part in our small poll (we would like to know if we are being viewed by locals or further afield).

It has an electoral roll of 584 and its amenities include Gillingham First School, Gillingham Pre-School, two churches, a village hall, a playground, allotments and a regular bus service.
It has a number of successful businesses including a petrol station, a fast-food restaurant, a hairdressing salon and a hotel/pub/restaurant.
