Gillingham parish council meets at the village hall on the second Monday of every month (apart from August) at 7:30pm. However, councillors are available from 7.00pm to talk to parishioners about any issues they may have. The annual meeting is held in May each year, and is preceded by the annual parish meeting at 7:30pm.
The parish council has seven councillors including the Chairman; Mr Tony Money and Vice-Chairman; Mr Rae Massingham.
The parish council notice board is situated outside the village hall, beside the bus shelter and the agenda for each meeting is displayed there fourteen days before each meeting.
